CHAPTER 1 

1. What happened to Zigfried's  father?

Zigfriend's father had died before.

2. What did Ozlowe do to try and make the Prince smile?

He told him jokes and made funny tricks. 

3. Why couldn't the Prince smile?

The Prince couldn't smile because he was too sad after his father's death.

4. Which animals was Ozlowe hoping to catch?

Ozlowe was hoping to catch a bird or a rabbit.

5. What did Zigfried and Ozlowe see on the lake?

They saw a white swan.

6. What happened when Ozlowe tried to shoot the swan?

When Ozlowe tried to shoot the swan an owl cast a spell on him and turned him to stone.

She wanted to get a ball because her son would turn eighteen years old.

Odile was a swan during the day and a princess at night.
